This Privacy Policy explains how RareDepot collects, uses, and shares information when you use our service.
Information we collect
- Account info: name, handle, email, profile photo, and authentication tokens.
- Listings and content: items you list, messages you send, comments and reviews you post.
- Transaction info: orders, shipping addresses, and tokenized payment details (we never store full card numbers).
- Device + usage: IP address, device type, browser, and product analytics.
- Location: approximate location, only with your permission, to power local results.
How we use information
To operate the service, complete transactions, surface relevant listings, prevent fraud, send transactional notifications you opted into, and improve product quality.
Sharing
We share order details with the counterparty as needed to fulfill an order, with payment processors to charge cards and pay sellers, and with service providers under contract. We don't sell personal data.
Your rights
- Access, export, or delete your account data from Settings.
- Opt out of non-essential email notifications.
- Block users so they cannot contact you.
Retention
We retain account data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to handle disputes, fraud, and regulatory requirements.
Children
RareDepot is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
